Sexual Harassment

Sexual Harassment Law Bakersfield, CA

Have You Been Harassed At Work?

Workplace sexual harassment takes many forms, including:
  • A supervisor or manager demanding sex in return for continued employment, a raise or a promotion
  • Pin-up photographs of naked men or women in the workplace, sexual jokes, pornography and unwanted touching
  • Sexual battery or sexual assault, which is also a crime
If the harassment is so dangerous that you need to quit, this is called constructive termination. We will help you get compensation for the wages you lose if you feel forced to quit.
Legal Tip:  If co-workers or customers are sexually harassing you, it is important that you report the harassment to your employer, if possible. Do this in writing and keep a copy. Your employer is required to fix the situation for you. If your employer fails to do that, we will hold your employer liable.
Our attorneys have been practicing employment law for a combined total of more than 25 years. We know that it is scary to talk to a lawyer about sexual harassment and battery. Do not be afraid. We are here to help.
